dolphin square
Local people will get their first view of McLaren Life's £35m regeneration plans for Weston's Dolphin Square when public consultation starts on Friday (29th October 2010).
The exhibitions are the first part of a two stage process to involve the local community and stakeholders in the plans for Dolphin Square which will see a planning application submitted to North Somerset Council before Christmas.

McLaren Life will be presenting initial design concepts for the project and showing an indication of the types of uses the company is planning for the site.
"McLaren Life understands the importance of involving the local community in the early stages of major development plan and we hope visitors to the exhibition will be able to see the initial ideas we have for this important town centre site," Simon Berry of McLaren Life.

All comments received over the two days will be analysed by the design team before we come back with our revised proposals in December.
The exhibitions will be held on Friday 29th October between 11.00am and 4.00pm and Saturday 30th October at Somerset House between 10.00am and 3.00pm. Members of the project team will be in attendance to answer questions and visitors will have the opportunity to express their views through a questionnaire and comment sheet.
